How long are PT sessions?

Evaluations (first appointment) and follow up sessions are one full hour, one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Do you accept my health insurance?

We are an out-of-network physical therapy clinic. We do not directly accept health insurance but depending on your insurance provider and plan, they may reimburse a portion of what you have paid. Reimbursements vary depending on your insurance plan. We recommend calling the number on the back of your card to better understand your health insurance benefits for out-of-network physical therapy.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

You do not need one as California allows for direct access for physical therapy. You are allowed to see us for 45 days or 12 visits (whichever comes first) before your PT will need to coordinate with your doctor if more visits are needed.

Where are you located?

Cascade Physical Therapy is located at 2020 4th Street, Unit A in San Rafael, CA. Currently I am sharing space with Tensegrity Physical Therapy so don’t be confused if you see a different name outside when you arrive!

What should I wear to sessions?

Be comfortable! Usually, workout clothes or loose clothing that allows you to expose your area of treatment is best.

Is there parking?

There is plenty of street parking right out front on 4th street.
